Graphic Design
Many of my graphic design skills were born out of necessity. To make good looking documents I had to learn new skills. Below are examples of my poster design, brochures and other miscellaneous creations .
Posters
This is the event poster for the wheelchair ramp building event Rampage from 2006. |
This is the event poster for the wheelchair ramp building event Rampage from 2007. |
Brochures
Brochure created for the University of Central Florida Creative Writing Department. |
Brochure to help market the Rampage wheelchair ramp building event. I also wrote the text for this publication. |
The brochure for the Center for Independent Loving in Central Florida. It describes all the services provided by the agency. I also wrote the text for this. |
The brochure used to market CIL’s American Sign Language Interpreter Services. I also wrote the text for this. |
The brochure used to describe CIL’s Employment Services. I also wrote the text for this. |
CIL provides mental health counseling services. I’m really proud of this piece because it’s very difficult to “market” service to people with mental health issues. The design is utilitarian. I think I really strike the right tone with this copy. |
I created this for the Central Florida Disability Chamber of Commerce. A Chamber designed to provide services to entrepreneurs with disabilities. I worked up this logo and also created a companion web page. |
A brochure created for a special event. I also wrote the copy for this. |
Other Designs
Here is a button design I worked up to help market the Rampage special event. |
Small note cards and matching envelopes. |
A folder with pockets on the inside and slits to insert a business card. |
The agency’s 2007-2008 annual report to its board of directors. |
A holiday card sent to partners and clients from CIL, 2009 season. |
A t-shirt with corporate donor logos created for volunteers to wear during the Rampage 2008 wheelchair ramp building event. |
